Sitting on a train recently, I bumped into a former colleague. About to leave the train she suddenly turned back. ‘I still think about those programmes’ she said. ‘They were really great to work on, so powerful.’
And they were great to work on, with amazing colleagues and fantastic participants. And the legacy of good programmes is that people remember and talk about them years later.
As a facilitator, programmes can be challenging, physically and mentally exhausting, but the buzz of seeing people develop and grow is like nothing else.
So to everyone who commissions my work, works with and supports me, and most important of all, embraces and champions the learning, I just want to say thank you.
